Titanbet.co.uk, the new UK-facing casino, sports book and poker room created by Playtech’s PT Entertainment Services, has teamed up with The Sun to sponsor the newspaper’s daily betting column.

As a result of the deal, Titanbet will gain access to The Sun’s pay-per-view client base via its online platform. The Sun’s sports betting preview column, which is called Tots’ Tips, is written by journalist Andy Totham. It has proven to be the UK’s most popular sports betting tips column, with expert tips on everything from football to boxing.

Each week Tots’ Tips goes through each Premier League clash and outlines the best betting action, as well as suggesting the best bets and long-shots that include all the weekend’s football action. From now on The Sun’s betting section will feature prominent Titanbet.co.uk branding.

“The Sun’s betting column will give us excellent exposure for the Titanbet.co.uk brand and great reach when it comes to sports bettors as we look to execute our launch strategy in the UK,”
said Russell Yershon, spokesman for Titanbet. “Throughout the football season we’ll be offering exclusives to readers to use on the desktop and mobile platform, including topical specials on the big events.”

The Sun’s tie-in with Titanbet.co.uk is the first collaboration of this kind between a UK newspaper and an online casino or sports betting site. If the tie-in with Titanbet.co.uk proves to be a success, it’s odds-on that this kind of partnership won’t be the last.
