New deal allows Sportingbet.com to offer Virtual Football League betting

Virtual Football betting will soon be made available at Sportingbet.com thanks to an agreement between GVC Holdings and data providers Betradar.

Malta-based GVC Holdings will now incorporate the “Virtual Football League” into Sportingbet.com.

The Virtual Football League (VFL) service will feature live 3D animation and artificial intelligence, allowing punters twenty-four hour betting opportunities. The service has been described by Betradar as a “close-to-reality” betting experience.

Erik Lorenz, Managing director of sales at Betradar, said he was delighted that GVC had chosen to partner with his firm for the launch of these virtual games.

Lorenz, said:

“We are delighted that GVC Holding has decided in favour of our solution to integrate virtual football into the Sportingbet website.”

Launched in June 2012, The Virtual Football League (VFL) product, has been
rolled-out by more than 50 betting operators worldwide
and has since expanded its portfolio to offer Virtual Horse Classics and Virtual Dog Racing, with more additions expected to be announced soon.

Among others, Betradar already has agreements in place with Bet365, William Hill, Betclic Everest and Unibet. The brand’s virtual products are available for retail and online bookmakers, and provide over 2,400 fixtures on a daily basis.
