Gaming Realms reports revenue surge
Spin Genie owner, Gaming Realms, has announced overall group revenue of £6.2 million for the third quarter of 2015. This translates to an increase of 48% over the same period in 2014.
The company further stated that this revenue increase matched initial market expectations, and that Gaming Realms can therefore be confident of hitting its targets for the full fiscal year, ending December 31.
Gaming Realms last month reported a massive 89% revenue increase, up to £8 million, for the first half of the year to 30 June.
These announcements follow the company’s acquisition of the Slingo brand in July. The company went on to launch of the new Slingo.com online casino around the time of last month’s announcement.
Gaming Realms acquired the Slingo brand, along with other assets, from RealNetworks for $18m, in an attempt to break into the North American market.
Gaming Realm’s CEO, Patrick Southon, said: “We believe that this new product, targeted at our key mobile based demographic, will enable us to continue our revenue and player growth into 2016 and beyond. It will also expand our differentiated product offering in the UK gambling market.”
