Cor blimey! First English themed casino planned for Las Vegas
It seems that American punters are eager for a taste of Albion, as the first ever English-themed casino is planned for the world famous strip.
According to The Mirror, the £500 million development will start later this year to bring a bit of Blighty to Vegas. Punters can expect cocktail waitresses in traditional British bobby hats as well as the iconic red telephone boxes and giant black cabs serving food and drink.
As for food, the menu at the casino will include glamorous English favourites such as fish and chips, steak and kidney pudding and pie and mash.

The Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Vegas has already regaled punters with an English Medieval theme, but the new build is expected to be a little more contemporary.
Las Vegas is home to many extravagant themed hotels and casinos, from exotic Egyptian at the Luxor to romantic France at the Paris, and will soon add merry old England to that list.
Sandy Martinez, a Las Vegas council official commented:
“It’s been a while coming, but so many of our visitors are from the UK this can only be a good opportunity. Everyone loves your Royal Family and the polite nature of the people, so this is a project which is way overdue. Many other nationalities are already represented here.”
Las Vegas is a popular destination for UK travellers and this year 450,000 Brits are expected to visit the gambling mecca – and will be soon be able to enjoy a home away from home experience.
