Rocky is a 5-reel, max 25-pay line video slot from Playtech. Obviously, it's based on the 1976 film of the same name, which won the 'Best Picture' Oscar at the 1977 Academy Awards. It also made a star of the actor who played Rocky, Sylvester Stallone … ah well, you can't have everything. The movie went on to spawn six sequels, the last (or latest) being 2015's 'Creed'. The original movie had a budget of $1,000,000 and was shot in a mere 28 days. In the film Rocky ends up losing narrowly to his fiesty opponent Apollo Creed, who was potrayed by ex-Oakland Raiders linebacker Carl Weathers.
In this knockout slot Rocky is joined on the reels by three of his opponents: Apollo Creed, James 'Clubber' Lang (played by Lawrence Tureaud, or 'Mr. T') and Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).
