Millionaire’s Club III Slot
Millionaire's Club III is the latest in a line of slots with progressive jackpots issued by Cryptologic. It's a 5-reel, max 20-pay line online slot that was first released in 2005. It's undergone a couple of re-fits since then, but it's still a very basic online slot along 'traditional' lines.
The information you're probably itching for concerns that all-important progressive jackpot (all information correct at time of writing):
- Jackpot re-seeds at: £175,000
- Record win: €5,898,352.
- Average win: £1,562,510.
- Averge time: 28 weeks.
As you can see, this is a progressive jackpot that takes some winning, as it is only won on average once or twice a year. That record win was set in May 2007 by some lucky UK resident who walked away from InterCasino with six million euros in his virtual back pocket.
The symbols used for the Millionaires Club III are all opulence-related: glasses of brandy, tickets to the opera, gold cuff-links, money clips, jewellery, peacocks (yes … peacocks), swimming pools and executive motors and yachts … in short, all you'll probably be spending your new dosh on should you land that elusive progressive jackpot.
You can choose your coin size in this game as anything from 0.01 to 20.00. All twenty pay lines are selectable, so your wager-per-spin is your coin size multiplied by the number of pay lines you want in play. When you're ready to begin your application to join the Millionaire's Club, hit the 'Spin' button.
Payout & bonus rounds
Payout & bonus rounds
Payouts at the Millionaire's Club start at 3x your coin size for three glasses of brandy or three opera tickets. The jackpot (aside from the progressive jackpot) is for five mansions.
The mansion symbol also acts as the wild symbol in this game. It substitutes for all other symbols, except for the 'logo' symbol.
This logo symbol is also the scatter symbol in this game. You win a cash prize if more than one logo symbol appears anywhere on the reels – scatters do not have to appear on a pay line in order to qualify for a win.
The logo symbol also triggers the bonus round that leads to the potential of winning the progressive jackpot. In the bonus game you are presented with a number of diamonds. Each diamond reveals a cash amount, a prize multiplier, a 'jackpot' symbol or a 'strike' symbol. You keep selecting diamonds until you reveal three strike symbols, or three jackpot symbols. If you find three strikes you 'cash in' all the cash amounts you have revealled, multiplied by all the multipliers you obtained. If you find three jackpot symbols you get one spin on the 'Jackpot Wheel'.
The 'Jackpot Wheel' is a three-tiered wheel with cash amounts and arrows. If you land on a cash amount, you earn that amount of money. If you land on an arrow, you progress to the next inner wheel. If you make it to the smallest wheel and land on the 'jackpot' symbol, then that means you win the progressive jackpot!
This slot was created when virtually every video slot was the same – five reels, twenty or so pay lines, wilds, scatters and a bonus game. This game may have had a couple of graphical upgrades, but it's really the gameplay that needs updating.
The main (and perhaps only) attraction is that progressive jackpot. There are not that many slots you can play that give you the chance of joining the 'Millionaire's Club' anyhow!
