The payouts in normal play start from 3x your bet-per-line for three of the pea-like fruits, to 500x your wager for five of the purple fruits that look like… a half-deflated basketball, perhaps?
There are no wilds or scatters in this game, but Fruitoids does has a couple of unique features. Firstly, when you land a win, ALL the symbols of the winning fruit on the reels, and not just those on the reels containing the winning payline, stick there for a free spins. Re-spins are re-triggered for as many times as you land a fresh fruit-y win.
Secondly, every time you fill a complete column with the same fruit you increase a multiplier along the top of the screen, so it's 2x for the first two columns (left-to-right in sequence only), 3x for the first three, and up to x5 for all five columns. The fruits unstick once you land a spin with no new wins.
Fruitoids could have been a 'peach' of a game, but the lack of wilds, scatters and bonus games reduces the chances of it being a game you're going to want to play for a prolonged session. The sticky fruits idea is a 'berry' nice one though, and it does get a little exciting if you start to fill the reels with the same fruit. Fruitoids is certainly not the 'lemon' of the online slots scene!
