The Foxin' Wins slot is a 5-reel, 25 pay line online slot game from NextGen Gaming. This is an original game that shouldn't 'fox' you too much. The star of this slot is a rather dapper-looking pipe-smoking fox who seems accustomed to the finer things in life, such as a mansion house and a speedboat. He also seems to have four annoying little nephews who pop up now and again with mischief obviously in mind.

You start the game by selecting your bet size from 0.01 to 2/00. All 25 lines are in play at all times. You can also chose the super bet feature which hides one, two or four fox 'pups' (as the game says – shouldn't that be cubs?) behind the reels. Occasionally these pups will pop out and turn symbols in wilds, and get especially excited during free spins and pop out more frequently. Wins are triggered with three identical symbols in sequence from the left hand reel.

Payout & bonus rounds

Payout & bonus rounds

Payouts range from x1 your stake for two 'Golden Pot' symbols anywhere on the reels, to x1,000 your stake for five symbols of Mr. Fox driving a car.

Mr. Fox also acts as the wild symbol, substituting for all symbols aside from the 'Golden Pot' symbol.

The 'Golden Pot' acts as the scatter symbol and landing three or more anywhere will land ten free spins where all prizes are doubled.

Mr. Fox seems to be incredibly well off, as he will pop up at random and add to your funds just to be generous. For some reason a leprechaun turns up now and again after a winning spin. Mr. Fox will give him a shake, sending coins tumbling from his pockets to add to your cash. Sometimes the leprechaun gets away, though.

Foxin' Wins is a rather random game that has already spawned a sequel. The animation is superb, and the game is tremendous fun to play, especially if you go for the super bet. Why not give Foxin' Wins a spin – after all, jackpot-hunting is a lot less cruel than fox-hunting!
