Double Bubble Slot
Double Bubble is a 5-reel, max 20 pay line online slot with a fishy theme as created by Realistic Gaming. ‘Dubble Bubble’ was a famous brand of chewing gum in the US (made originally in Philadelphia) – but this game is both chewing gum and bubble gum free. The symbols used in this game are all ocean-related, aside from the playing card symbols ten through to ace. Joining in with the piscean pandemonium are a sea-horse, a tropical-looking fish, a crab and a shark.
This is a very easy-to-play online slot and has even been designed to look like a real-world slots cabinet. There are twenty available pay lines, and you can select as many as you want in play for each spin. You can also choose your stake-per-line as anything from 0.01 to 10.00. This gives you a range of bets from 0.01 all the way up to 200.00. Of course the more you stake, the higher the payouts if you have the good fortune to strike it lucky. Set your chosen number of lines, and your stake, and when you’re ready to go fishing in the hope of catching a tasty payout, cast away and hit the spin button.
The lowest winning payout available here is 10x your stake-per-line for three tens, jacks or queens, and they run all the way up to the prize catch of five sharks which wins you 10,000x your line wager.
The shark symbol also acts as the wild symbol in this game. It substitutes for all other symbols aside from the scatter symbol.
A kind of golden coin with a bird’s head acts as the scatter symbol. If you land three anywhere on the reels, you win back the value of your bet. Land four to win ten times the value of your wager, and a 125x bet multiplier for five scatters.
If you land at least three bird coins anywhere on the reels you win ten free spins. If, during your ‘spins gratis’ you land the ‘Double Bubble’ logo anywhere on the central reel then your current free spin winnings total is doubled, up to a maximum of 10,000x your stake-per-line (hence ‘double bubble’). Free spins cannot be re-triggered.
If you like basic slots – sea-themed or not – then this is certainly a game that will appeal to you. The graphics are as basic as they come, as is the gameplay. There’s unfortunately an annoying ‘bubble sound fx background’ noise that sounds like someone suffering from indigestion, and very cheesy music. We do like the boogie-loving octopus who introduces the free spins round though, but not a lot else. A game for basic slots lovers, pirates and other non land-lubbers only.
