Alkemor’s Tower Slot
Alkemor's Tower is a 3D, 5-reel, 243-payline slot from Betsoft. This slot was added to Betsoft's impressive arsenal of online slots in the early days of November, 2015. It features the talented wizard Alkemor, whom seems to have taken style tips from Merlin of NextGen's Merlin's Millions slot. If you're wondering where the name Alekmor comes from … then we don't know either! It seems to belong in the 'made up name' category. Anyhow, this is another stunning slot from the 3D slots masters at Betsoft on par with some of their other recent releases, such as Pinocchio. Alkemor himself looks a little grumpy, but likes to levitate himself on frequent occassions, revealling his taste for curly-toed shoes. He also loves the odd beardy-stroke too. All the symbols used on the reels are magical – from rings with special powers to bags of colourful gems.
You start the game off by selecting your coin size from 0.02 to 1.00, and your bet level from one to five. All 243 possible lines are covered, and they are in play at all times. Your bet is always multiplied by thirty, to cover all 243 lines, so your final wager is your coin size multiplied by your bet level multiplied by thirty. You can change any of these values between spins. To win one of the cash prizes you need to land three or more identical symbols in sequence in any position, one-per-reel, from the left hand reel. When you're happy with your settings and to unleash the magic, hit the 'Spin' button.

Payouts commence at 3x for three magical scales, and rise all the way up to 350x for five of the eponymous Alkemore himself.
The game has a special feature named 'Elemental Spells'. This feature is triggered by landing a spell book symbol on reels one and two, and then a spell symbol on reel three. If you land further spell book symbols on reel four or reels four AND five then the power of the spell feature is increased. The spells are as follows:
- Water (blue): a vast wave flows over the reels. All spell and spell book symbols on reels two to four turn wild, and the spell book symbol on reel one is turned into a random symbol. Any wins are then recalculated.
- Earth (brown): Alkemor will summon meteors to destroy the reels. When the dust has settled, all spell and spell book symbols on reels two to four become wild, and all other symbols are destroyed and replaced by new ones, hopefully triggering more wins.
- Air (light blue): A tornado causes all spell and spell book symbols on reels two to four to become wild. All other symbols fly off the reels to land in new positions, hopefully triggering more wins.
- Fire (red): The reels burst into flames, and the spell and spell book symbols on reels two to four become wild. The spell book symbol on reel one becomes a paying symbol, and extra wild symbols are added to the reels.
If you can land two spell book symbols and a 'free spins floor' symbol on a winning pay line, you get transported to one of Alkemor's special floors. 'The Nature Floor' has a special vine symbol that devours symbols and rewards you for all it eats, and 'The Celestial Floor' has a black hole symbol that sucks in neighbouring symbols with extra rewards for you.

Alkemor's Tower is a magical treat, although it does suffer a little with the lack of a 'normal' wild and scatter symbols as the 'Elemental Spells' feature does not seem to come up all that often. The graphics are exemplary though – when Alkemor summons the planet-bashing meteors you can also feel the ground shake beneath your feet! Another spell-tastic winner from Betsoft!
