Common Draw Roulette is Betsoft's entry in the multiplayer roulette stakes. This is not a live casino game as it's software/RNG based, but you at least get a chat window via which you can communicate with other players, although you cannot see them place their chips.

This game is based on European roulette, so the roulette wheel only has numbers one to thirty six and a zero. This means the house edge is kept down to 2.7 percent.

You make inside and outside bets here in the same way as any other RNG roulette game: by selecting your chip size, picking the spot on the playing grid and placing them on the gaming table. However, unlike most RNG roulette games you do not get as long as you want to make your wagers. At the top of the screen there is a countdown timer which displays in seconds just how long you have to place your bets. You have to lay your bets and click 'confirm' before the countdown timer reaches zero.

As well as inside and outside bets you can also make a number of special bets. On the chat window there's a tab marked 'Special Bet' – click this to see the range of special bets available. You can make bets such as orphelin plein, finale cheval and zero game.

The other tab on the chat applet is labelled 'Statistic' and here you will find (pointless) statistics about how play has progressed so far, including the splits between odd or even, and red or black. You'll also find out which numbers are currently hot and which are cold, which can really useful … in some way we can't think of.

This is a slightly disappointing affair from Betsoft, it has to be said. We think the game was originally designed by Sheriff Gaming before that company lost its gambling license in 2013, and has since been brought under the Betsoft banner.

We can't recommend this title too much – the graphics are very basic and the rendering of the roulette wheel and the physics that dictate the motion of the ball are not at all convincing at all.

If you want to play roulette with other players, then we advise you to try a live casino instead. For RNG roulette games there are much better options out there.
