Spin Princess Casino in a nutshell
Spin Princess Casino is a lady-orientated mobile gambling portal created by Nektan Casinos. It burst into being in the summer of 2015, and joined Nektan’s ever-growing list of mobile casinos. This list includes Chomp Casino, Jackpot Mobile Casino and the Sapphire Room Casino. Gibraltar-based Nektan are a talented bunch, have begun life as a game development company. They began marketing their own casinos in 2014.
At RightCasino.com we do not usually approve of gender-orientated casinos, as we think such things should have gone the way of the dinosaur, the CD and dial-up broadband, but we do try and keep an open mind.
Spin Princess Casino does look promising, and does not seem to suffer from the ‘lack of games’ disease that afflicts other mobile-themed casinos. Is it any good, though? Read on for our verdict …
What’s the look and feel of Spin Princess Casino?
The pertinent pigment prevailing at Spin Princess casino is a perfectly precious and passion-piquing pink.
We assume that ‘pink’ is the main shade here to tie in with ‘Princess’. As we mentioned previously, we’re not fond of gender-themed casinos here at RightCasino.com – we consider them a tad patronising. Others might say it’s just harmless fun, though …
Anyhow, the site works well on mobile devices, which of course is the most important thing. As a bonus, all the games run on desktops PCs and laptops too.
What games are available at Spin Princess Casino?
If there is one habitual criticism of mobile casinos, it is the lack of games. However, this is not a criticism that seems valid when levelled at Spin Princess Casino.
As well as their own bespoke software, Spin Princess Casino have brought on board NextGen Gaming to provide gaming software too. NextGen Gaming aren’t in the same ‘elite’ boat as the likes of NetEnt and Betsoft, but they do have some very decent slots titles. If you’re stuck for ideas then we suggest giving Foxin’ Wins, Merlin’s Millions and Psycho a few spins.
Sadly, beyond slots, you’re a little stuck. There’s one version of blackjack and one version of roulette. Neither version of these classic casino pastimes available here is likely to thrill you, though.
If you expect to play video poker, craps, sic bo or anything beyond slots, blackjack and roulette at Spin Princess Casino you’re going to be fresh out of luck. There’s no live casino either.
The main provider here is NextGen Gaming, along with Nektan’s own bespoke software.
More bad news – there is no live support, as such, available. The best you get is a telephone number that leads to a call centre, an email address and a list of FAQs.
As mentioned previously, no live casino.
What promotions are available at Spin Princess Casino?
The Spin Princess is ready to hand you an amazing £1,000 in welcome bonuses. You also receive fifty free spins on Starburst as part of your welcome deal. The bonus amounts are spread over your first three deposits, as follows:
- 1st deposit – 100% cash-match up to £100
- 2nd deposit – 50% cash-match up to £400
- 3rd deposit – 25% cash-match up to £500
These bonuses do not come condition-free, however. The minimum amount you need to deposit for a bonus is £10, and all bonuses come with a play-through requirement of 30x. You have to meet your wagering requirements within 28 days, and you cannot count blackjack and roulette wagers towards your play-through needs. As you will see later in the review, that basically just leaves you with slots.
The maximum you can win from any bonus is four times the bonus amount.
These are not the only bonuses that Spin Princess Casino offers. From Monday to Thursday each day if you make a deposit between 6pm and 9pm (GMT) you can receive a twenty-five percent cash boost up to £50. On Tuesdays you can also grab ten percent cash back on your losses up to a maximum of £50.
Spin Princess Casino runs as VIP scheme called ‘The VIP Circle’. This runs on three tiers – VIP, Premier and Elite – and of course the higher up the VIP chain you rise, the better the benefits. Elite VIP members receive bigger bespoke bonuses, increased deposit limits and the services of personal account manager.
Surprisingly, for a mobile casino, there seems to be no ‘pay by phone bill’ option here.
Payments can be made by Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards, plus a number of eWallet and pre-payment options, including Skrill and Paysafecard. The minimum deposit is a tidy and tight £5, and the maximum is £10,000 per day. You can withdraw to Visa, Skrill and by bank transfer. Minimum withdrawal is £10, and the maximum is again £10,000 per day.
Promised transaction times are pretty swift – 24 hours for eWallet and 3 to 5 days for credit and debit cards. Note that there may be a pending period period of 48 to 72 hours for some transactions.
The final verdict
We’ve seen Nektan’s mobile casino efforts before, and generally we are in favour of them. As we have mentioned, a lot of mobile casinos have terrible games, but here – mainly thanks to NextGen Gaming – that is not the case.
The only real downside we can come up with is that pink theme. Maybe we’re just pink-phobic?
