Lady Luck’s Casino in a nutshell
UPDATE: Lady Luck’s Casino is no longer accepting new players – please try your luck instead at Casumo, Casino of Dreams or Leo Vegas.
You may think that mobile online casinos are a relatively new phenomenon, but that’s not actually the case. Proof of that comes here with Lady Luck’s Casino – a mobile-only casino that has been running since 2008.
Lady Luck’s Casino is run by UK-based Probability, a mobile games specialist. It boasts about have over one million members, who enjoy slots, casino and bingo games.
Mobile gaming is the most convenient way of enjoying gambling on the go. Will Lady Luck be your companion at this mobile online casino? Read on to find out …
What’s the look and feel of Lady Luck’s Casino?
We are impressed with Lady Luck’s Casino’s design. Having been around since 2008, it began life at a time when smart phone screens were still pretty small, so lots of the games seem to have been designed with this in mind. If you have an older smart phone, and not one of the newer models with screens almost the size of a seven-inch tablet, then you’ll approve of Lady Luck’s Casino.
Navigation is excellent as well. You can get to exactly where you want to be in a few seconds, and funding your account is convenient and easy too.
What games are available at Lady Luck’s Casino?
We’re not overly impressed by the number of games available here, in all honesty. The site says there are thirty-one mobile slots, but we could only count twenty-seven. Whichever number it is, it’s still too scant a quantity. All slots are built in-house by Probablity themselves, so don’t expect to see Gonzo’s Quest, Under The Bed or Pinocchio here.
Casino gaming options are even more of a rarity. One version apiece of European Roulette, American Roulette, Blackjack, Video Poker and that’s your lot.
Add on a couple of Arcade Games (Crazy Camels and Gem Busters) and a mobile bingo room, and that’s your lot. No baccarat and no live casino.
Thirty four casino games (with the majority of them being slots) will not keep you occupied for too long.
All games are supplied by Probabilty themselves, as previously mentioned. There are no other providers.
What promotions are available at Lady Luck’s Casino?
You can land yourself £20 for nothing by signing up with Lady Luck’s Casino. Just register your new account and reply to the verification link that you will be sent via text or email. Once you’re approved, you’ll find £20 freshly lodged into your account.
Don’t think you can take this money and do a moonlit flit, though – at least we think you can’t. There are no further details about this no deposit bonus on the site as far as we can see. We assume then that your no deposit bonus is subject to the site’s general T&Cs, which means a 50x playthrough. You have to make £1,000 in wagers before you can cash out your bonus and any winnings.
The welcome bonus that’s available is much more clearly defined. It’s a one hundred percent match bonus from a minumum of £10 up to a maximum of £500. The wagering requirements are the same – 50x – although on the bonus ONLY. This is the same as 25x wagering requirements on a ‘bonus & deposit’ playthrough requirement.
You have a well-intentioned 90 days in which to meet your requirements. All slots count one hundred percent towards playthrough, aside from Super Fruity, Long John’s Silver, Poseidon’s Kingdom, Gold Rush, The Slot and Reindeer Readies which all count fifty percent. Blackjack counts ten percent, as do inside bets on Roulette – outside bets and any bet which covers at least eighty percent of the table counts one hundred percent.
The promos don’t end at Lady Luck’s Casino once you’ve made your initial deposit and taken your £20 freebie. The site runs random prize draws worth up to £2,000 and daily bonuses. You can earn another £20 by simply refering a friend or entering a competition on Facebook.
The site seems to run a VIP section but again details seem to be a little sketchy. VIPs receive VIP-only promos, cashback and extra goodies.
Banking is mainly plastic or eBanking. Both Visa and MasterCard are accepted when it comes to credit and debit cards, and your eWallet options are PayPal, Ukash and Paysafecard.
You can also pay via your phone bill, using Boku. This is a super convenient way to pay – you just send a text or call a given number, and your chosen payment amount appears on your next mobile bill. You can even fund your account in this way using your landline, so your funding amount appears on your BT bill.
There’s a mimimum deposit limit of £10 and a maximum of £10,000 (unless you are using pay by phone, in which case it is £30). Deposits are funded instantly. You can withdraw via Visa or PayPal, or by a personal cheque. The minimum withdrawal amount is also £10, and the maximum is £20,000 per transaction. You can only make one withdrawal per day, and non-cheque methods are usually completed in two to three days.
The final verdict
We do wish Lady Luck’s Casino had more games as it’s a very nice place to wager, and works well even on dusty old mobile devices. Probabilty is owned by IGT, one of the biggest online casino software (and real world casino) companies out there, so we’re a little non-plussed as to why gambling options seem so limited.
Other than the lack of variety, we cannot really find anything else to put a black mark against here. Maybe a few more pertient details about the no deposit bonus?
