DrückGlück Casino in a nutshell

As well as being number one in the ‘casino with an unfathomable name’ charts, DrückGlück Casino is an online casino that’s powered by Skill on Net. This site operates via a license granted to it by the UK Gambling Commission. Despite the name, DrückGlück Casino seems primed for the UK market.

If you’re wondering what ‘DrückGlück’ means, then you’ll have to keep wondering as we can’t help you. We thought it looked a bit German, but the nearest translation we came up with is ‘suppressive happy’, which makes zero sense when it comes to an online casino. It will have to remain one of life’s mysteries …

So, how drueck or glueck will you be playing at DrückGlück Casino? Read on and you’ll be educated …

What’s the look and feel of DrückGlück Casino?

Quirky name, quirky casino. The design of DrückGlück Casino is definitely unqiue. The place seems to be littered with weird, cuddly critters who … do nothing really. The menu is arranged in a series of circles with account menus to the left. If you’re stuck for something to play, then click on the ‘DrückGlück’ button in the middle of the screen – this will take you to a random game.

This quirkiness may take a little getting used to. We’re always in favour of a different approach to an online casino, but we’re not one hundred percent sure about what we’ve found here.

What games are available at DrückGlück Casino?

There are a lot of slots here – nearly two hundred in fact. It helps that there’s some very good software providers here too, such as NetEnt, WMS, NextGen Gaming and Barcrest. If you’re unfamiliar with the slotting world, then games such as Starburst, Foxin’ Wins Again and Medusa are a very good place to start.

Non-slots fans do not have to worry as there are card and table games here too, although not nearly as many. In fact we could only find two versions of blackjack, plus two versions of baccarat. Roulette is better served at five versions, and video poker with four (all in single, three-hand, ten-hand and twenty-five hand versions). We could find nothing in the scratch cards and extra games section.

There are three live casinos here, powered by Evolution Gaming, Extreme Gaming and Xpro. Blackjack, roulette, casino poker and baccarat are all available with live dealers.

Software here is provided by NetEnt, WMS, NextGen Gaming, Barcrest, Amaya, Aristocrat, Evolution Gaming, Extreme Gaming and xPro.

Live support is available 24/7 (although there are a few complaints on the web of it being ‘rude’).

There are a high number of live casino games from different providers.

There’s a mobile-optimised version too, and that’s more along traditional lines when it comes to mobile casino design.

What promotions are available at DrückGlück Casino?

You can’t beat a good bonus of course, and there are plenty available at DrückGlück Casino.

First up, you get ten free spins on the Ninja Master slot for simply signing up with them. If you then decide to make a deposit, the bonus scheme that’s available is as follows:

  • First deposit: 100% up to £100 + 25 free spins
  • Second deposit: 50% up to £50 + 50 free spins
  • Third deposit: 50% up to £50 + 100 free spins

Your free spins are valid on Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst and Jack & the Beanstalk. The minimum deposit needed to claim a bonus is £20, and you’ll need to make sure that you use the bonus code DG100 all three times. Any winnings from your free spins are limited to £100.

Wagering requirements look fantastic – only twenty times the bonus amount. So, for a bonus of £50, your wagering requirements are a mere 20 x £50 = £1,000 – that really is amazingly generous.

Gaming contributions are a little confusing. There are three types of wagering – standard (only slots and scratch cards count), mixed (slots and scratch cards count 100%, everything else 10%), and special mixed (same as mixed except that everything else now counts 50%). Unless otherwise stated, standard wagering is the default. Top level VIPs receive special bonuses, gifts, promotions and support.

DrückGlück Casino loves its punters, and loves giving its punters plenty of promising promotions. Indeed, there’s a new promotion available on a daily basis. There’s also a VIP scheme that’s split over six levels, from bronze to red diamond. You need to earn casino points to move from one level to the next, and different wagers earn you different points. For example, you need to wager £10 on slots to earn one point, but £10 on roulette or blackjack. To reach platinum level you need to earn 2,000 points, and the top two levels are via invitation only.

Uh-ho, here comes our first real moan about DrückGlück Casino – there are fees for deposits. The number of casinos that offer free deposits VASTLY outnumber the ones that don’t, so we’re not quite sure why any do, but DrückGlück Casino does. Some are quite high as well – 3.5% for eWallets, and 2.5% for credit/debit cards.

Your options include Visa/MasterCard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz and Paysafecard. All deposits are processed immediately, and there’s a minimum deposit amount of £10 (£20 for Neteller).

The minimum withdrawal is £20, and the maximum for a single withdrawal is £5,000. Surprisingly, there are no fees for withdrawals aside from a wire transfer which comes with a flat fee of £10. You can withdraw to most methods to which you can deposit, aside from MasterCard and Paysafecard. Withdrawal times are standard.

The final verdict

We’re a little unsure about the name ‘DrückGlück Casino’, and we’re a little unsure about this casino too. There are some amazing benefits – such as those incredibly generous wagering expectations and the high number of quality slots and live games on offer – but there are some down votes too. Charging for deposits is always a no-no in our book, and some of the charges (5% for Paysafecard) are unnecessarily high.

Having said that, we do admire DrückGlück Casino for attempting something a little different when it comes to their design, although we have seen this sort of design done much better – think Casino Room. We can’t quite make up our minds about this one – you’ll have to sign up for Drueck Glueck Casino and see how you feel – don’t forget to grab those ten free spins!
